New army chief’s warning to China

New Delhi, The country’s new army chief General Manoj Pandey warned China only a day after taking office and bluntly said that India will not tolerate any wrongdoing on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). He has said on Sunday that the country’s defense is above all and he is ready to face any challenge. He said that in the last two years, India has strengthened military deployment along the border with China.

Talking about China also, General Manoj Pandey said that the process of dialogue between India and China is going on. He said- We are confident that as we continue to talk to the other side, we will find a solution to the ongoing issues. However, at the same time, he also said that wrongdoing on the LAC will not be tolerated. Army Chief said- In the last two years, we have made our deployment very strong on the border with China.

General Manoj Pandey said- We have deployed additional troops on the Chinese border. It is our best effort to maintain the old situation in Ladakh. Indian troops are in important positions and will not allow any change in status quo or any loss of territory. Describing the situation on the LAC as normal, he said that the Indian Army has responded adequately to the unilateral and provocative action by China to change the status quo by force.
