Betul. In the Jhallar police station area of Betul district of Madhya Pradesh, Special Task Force (STF) Bhopal has cordoned off the van and arrested three youths and seized 18 pistols from them. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Neeraj Soni said today that STF Bhopal had received information that some youths were going to Punjab by keeping some suspicious weapons in their vans.
STF started chasing the van near Narmadapuram. The driver accelerated the speed of the van and started taking it towards Jhallar police station area of Betul district. After giving information to the local police, the STF stopped the van and arrested three youths. During the search, 18 pistols were recovered from the van. The ASP said that the STF has left for Bhopal with all the three accused. (talk)
