The Prime Minister is Modi, but the mind is of Amit Shah. If Amit Shah is eliminated, Modi will also be finished. But none of you is putting an end to them. Keep thinking about it, you guys can do something.’ Nellai Kannan said this while addressing a rally in a Muslim dominated area.

BJP had made these allegations against Kannan in its complaint

The video of Kannan’s controversial speech went viral on social media at that time. BJP’s state unit general secretary KS Narendran had filed a complaint on behalf of the party in this matter on December 30. It was written in this complaint, ‘Kannan has insulted PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah internationally by making objectionable remarks against him. His speech was to provoke the public. Kannan instigated the common people to commit criminal acts against the State, Prime Minister and Home Minister. Apart from this, Kannan’s speech also poses a threat to national and communal unity, so action should be taken against Kannan.
