Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, on the occasion of National Technology Day, expressed his gratitude to the Indian scientists who played an important role in the Pokhran nuclear test in 1998. Shri Modi also remembered the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and said that he displayed political courage at that time. The Prime Minister tweeted that today, on National Technology Day, we express our gratitude to our talented scientists who carried out the Pokhran nuclear test in 1998.
