Nadda engaged in strengthening the roots of BJP in West Bengal.
Kolkata | West Bengal BJP Nadda : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is still engaged in strengthening its foundation in West Bengal. Due to this, the party’s national president JP Nadda reached Bengal on a two-day tour amidst the ongoing opposition in the party. He will promote the organization across the state before the upcoming panchayat elections. Senior leaders of the state welcomed Mr. Nadda when he reached the airport on Tuesday evening. After this, most of the leaders met him at night in the same hotel where he was staying. Party sources said state president Sukanta Majumdar, MPs Dilip Ghosh, Amit Malviya, Locket Chatterjee and leaders of opposition in the state assembly and Nandigram MLAs Suvendhu Adhikari and Agnimitra Paul met Mr. Nadda.

Difficulties have to be faced..
West Bengal BJP Nadda : During the meeting, the local leaders discussed the affairs of the party and their itinerary in the next 48 hours. In the midst of the day, Mr Nadda is expected to inaugurate a session of the State Executive Committee meeting at the National Library Complex on Wednesday afternoon and address the state leadership. BJP has been facing difficulties in keeping party office bearers under one roof in West Bengal after winning 18 out of 42 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and 77 seats in the 2019 Assembly elections in the state. .

West Bengal BJP Nadda : Mr Nadda’s visit assumes significance at a time when the party is facing a double-edged sword of alleged attack from the ruling Trinamool Congress and defections in the party. He said that Mr. Nadda’s visit is expected to give a boost to the top leadership of the party, so that they can rally to re-organize the grassroot level workers. He said that BJP is now trying to regain its lost place before next year’s Panchayat elections.
