Devotees gathered to visit Baba Badrinath, snowfall continues

 

Badrinath Dham. The weather has become cold due to continuous light snowfall in Baba Badrinath Dham located in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand for the last twenty four hours (from Monday). Despite this, the enthusiasm of the devotees has not diminished. Since the opening of the doors of the Dham on May 8, till Monday evening, a total of 17 lakh 38 thousand 872 visitors and pilgrims have visited here.

The media in-charge of the temple committee, Dr. Harish Gaur, told on Tuesday morning that from the date of opening of Shri Badrinath Dham to November 14, where a total of 17,38,872 devotees have visited, a total of 4,311 pilgrims reached the shrine on Monday night. He told that the doors of the Dham will be closed on Saturday, November 19 for the winter season. At the same time, the doors of the second Kedar Shri Madmaheshwar ji will be closed on November 18 for winter. Dr Gaur said that the weather has become cold here due to snowfall since yesterday. He has requested the pilgrims to bring necessary warm clothes as the weather is cold.
