New Delhi | Mukesh Ambani Donation Uttrakhand : Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his son Anant Ambani have always come forward to help the calamities in the country. In such a situation, once again a helping hand has been extended to the flood victims of Assam. Reliance Foundation has contributed Rs 25 crore to the Assam Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Expressing his gratitude on social media, Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said that a heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Mukesh Ambani and Mr. Anant Ambani for standing with the people of Assam at this critical juncture. This will prove to be very helpful for our flood relief measures.

Medical camps are being organized

Mukesh Ambani Donation Uttrakhand : In Assam, which is facing the disaster of flood, Reliance Foundation is engaged in helping the flood victims for the last one month. For this, the teams of Reliance Foundation are working closely with the Assam State Disaster Management Authority, Department of Health and Family Welfare and National Health Mission, Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, District Administration and other civil society organizations. Medical camps are being organized and emergency relief kits are being distributed at several places in the worst-hit Cachar and Nagaon districts. Livestock camps are being organized. Since the camps were started on June 1, more than 1,900 people have been screened and treated. More than 10,400 wild animals have been treated in livestock camps.

Kits given to more than 5,000 families…

Mukesh Ambani Donation Uttrakhand : Along with medical camps, Reliance Foundation is distributing dry rations and kits for health needs to provide immediate relief. So far more than 5,000 families have been given kits. Reliance Foundation is providing help to the victims in Silchar, Kalin, Borkhola and Katigorh blocks of Cachar district. At the same time, relief work is also going on in Kathiatoli, Raha, Nagaon Sadar and Kampur blocks of Nagaon district.
