Changes made in CSK before playoff, this player joined the team instead of Sam Curran

IPL 2021: Before the last match of the league round in IPL 14, there has been a change in the team of Chennai Super Kings. West Indies all-rounder Dominic Drakes has joined Chennai Super Kings in place of Sam Curran. Sam Curran has been ruled out of the rest of IPL 14 due to injury.

Chennai Super, however, have already confirmed their place in the playoffs. Chennai Super Kings are currently second in the table with 18 points. The team of Super Kings will take on Punjab Kings in their last league match on Thursday. The chances of CSK finishing in the top two are very high and that is why they can avoid playing the Eliminator match.
