Two days before this, a Hindu school teacher was shot dead in Kulgam area of South Kashmir on Tuesday. On Thursday, the murder of the bank manager also took place in Kulgam area. This is the seventh such targeted killing in the last one month. For the last 20 days, Kashmiri Hindus have been protesting against the continuous targeted killings.
However, Kshetriya Gramin Bank officials said Vijay Kumar, manager at Mohanpora branch, was shot dead by terrorists. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he died. Bank manager Vijay Kumar was a resident of Rajasthan. After his killing, security forces have cordoned off the entire area and search is on for the terrorists. After two consecutive killings in three days, there is fear among Hindus and they are protesting and demanding protection.
Terrorist organization Kashmir Freedom Fighters, KFF has claimed responsibility for the killing. KFF has also issued a letter warning Hindus after the murder. He has said in his letter – whoever is involved in the demographic change of Kashmir, this will be the result of it. It is written in the letter – It is an eye-opener for those outsiders who are living under the illusion that the Modi-led government will make them permanent here. Meanwhile, in Delhi, Home Minister Amit Shah has a meeting with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and RAW chief. Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office Jitendra Singh was also present in the meeting. It is being told that the issue of continuous targeted killings in Kashmir was discussed in this meeting. Home Minister Amit Shah has also called a meeting on June 3, in which the Lieutenant Governor of Kashmir will also be present. Significantly, on May 12, a Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhatt was assassinated in Budgam. After that, on May 31, school teacher Rajni Bala was murdered and on June 2, bank manager Vijay Kumar was murdered.
