Modi meets Finnish PM Sana Marine…

New Delhi | PM Modi Foreign Travel : During his foreign tour, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the Prime Minister of Finland Sana Marine on Wednesday. During this, the two discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral relations in trade, investment, technology and other areas. Modi, who arrived here from Berlin on Tuesday on the second leg of his three European-nation tour, met Marines on the sidelines of the second India-Nordic summit in the Danish capital. The Prime Minister’s Office gave information in this regard by tweeting and tweeted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Prime Minister of Finland Sana Marine met in Copenhagen.

Discussion on further strengthening the partnership

PM Modi Foreign Travel : The developmental partnership between India and Finland is growing rapidly. The two leaders discussed ways to further strengthen this partnership in trade, investment, technology and other such areas. Modi will then attend the second India-Nordic summit along with the prime ministers of Iceland, Finland, Sweden and Norway. Here he will review cooperation since the first India-Nordic summit in 2018. Modi had earlier said that the Nordic countries are important partners for India in sustainability, renewable energy, digitization and innovation. This visit will help enhance our multi-faceted cooperation with the Nordic region.

Also met Prime Minister Katrin Jacobsdottir

PM Modi Foreign Travel : Earlier, PM Modi met Iceland’s Prime Minister Katrin Jakobsdottir and discussed ways to boost ties in areas such as trade, energy and fisheries. The Ministry of External Affairs said Prime Minister Modi appreciated Jakobsdottir’s personal efforts to promote gender equality and briefed him about India’s progress on the issue. Modi had tweeted before the start of his programs today, he had said that today’s agenda includes India-Nordic Summit and bilateral talks with Nordic leaders, after which I will hold talks with French President Emmanuel Macron. I will leave for Paris.
