Mizoram CM Zoramthanga met Amit Shah, discussed these issues including Myanmar refugee

Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga on Thursday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi and discussed the situation arising out of the influx of people from neighboring Myanmar into the state after the army came to power last year.

Chief Minister of Mizoram zoramthanga Union Home Minister in Delhi on Thursday Amit Shah and discussed the situation arising out of people coming to the state after the army came to power in neighboring Myanmar last year. Zoramthanga also said that the Union Home Minister will visit Mizoram in November and inaugurate the Assam Rifles base at Jokhwasang, about 15 km from Aizawl.

“I met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday to discuss the political crisis in Myanmar and the influx of refugees from the neighboring country,” the chief minister said in a post on his official Instagram account.

He said that the Union Minister also took stock of the situation of Myanmar refugees in Myanmar and India. Official sources said more than 30,000 Myanmarese civilians have taken shelter in different parts of Mizoram since the army came to power in February last year.

Thousands of Myanmar people taking refuge in India

Thousands of people from Myanmar are taking refuge in India. Thousands of people have entered Mizoram in India so far. Last month, a local leader of Mizoram gave this information. Jokhawthar Village Council President Lalmuanpuia told news agency PTI that hundreds of people from Myanmar have entered Mizoram since Sunday.

Myanmar situation worsens after coup

Even in Myanmar, the situation of economic crisis like Sri Lanka and Pakistan is being created. Here too there has been a sharp decrease in foreign exchange reserves.

After the coup of February 2021, its foreign debt has increased due to restrictions imposed by Western countries and the Corona epidemic has badly affected the country’s economy.
