New Delhi: A three-day All India Kisan Mela was organized at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Agricultural University in Meerut. Where a buffalo worth 10 crores was seen on the first day of the fair, whose name is Golu Two. He remained the center of attraction of this fair. Padma Shri honored farmer Narendra Singh, a resident of Panipat in Haryana, had reached the fair with his buffalo Golu Two.

Narendra Singh told that his buffalo was named Golu Tu because his grandfather’s name was Golu Van and it is better than his grandfather Golu Van. Hence it was named after his grandfather. According to Narendra Singh, his buffalo is of pure Murrah species and its mother gives 26 kg milk per day. The weight of Golu to buffalo is 15 quintals i.e. 1500 kg and its age is 4 years 6 months.

Narendra Singh further told that, Golu consumes 30 kg dry green fodder, 7 kg wheat-gram and 50 grams of mineral mixture every day. Its daily cost is about 1000 rupees. Narendra Singh told that he earns a lot from Golu 2’s semen.

According to Narendra Singh, the buyers have estimated the price of Golu 2 up to 10 crores. But, he is not ready to sell his buffalo. Everyone who came to the Kisan Mela was astonished to see the stature of the buffalo. Everyone wants to know about Golu Two. Narendra Singh is fond of animals. He told that first of all he had prepared Golu Van. However, he died recently.

Narendra Singh explains that the purpose of bringing Golu Two in the fair is to make the farmers aware. They wish that good buffaloes and buffaloes could be produced using good seams. Narendra Singh says that he has also been honored with Padma Shri by the government in 2019.
