Mehul Kumar and Nana Patekar’s Krantiveer is still relevant today

Late Dilip Kumar Sahab had praised Nana Patekar’s performance for the film ‘Isi Krantiveer’. Recalling that praise, Nana Patekar further wrote, ‘He had stroked my back, he is still the reason for my courage. I still remember, one day when I went home, (Dilip Kumar), he called me. It was raining heavily and I was completely wet. When he reached his house, he was standing at the door. Seeing me wet, they went inside, brought towels, and started wiping my head. Also brought my own shirt from inside and made me wear it. Where would I stay dry, I was left wet from inside. Eyes were tearing, but I was still trying to control myself. How much were you praising the film ‘Krantiveer’. I was completely lost in him while listening to his remarks on every single episode of the film. I was reading his eyes. I have heard many dialogues from his eyes.
