Mehbooba Mufti claimed – then imprisoned me in the house, said – this is the real picture of Kashmir

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti has claimed in a tweet that she has been placed under house arrest again. In the tweet, she wrote that, “Was going to Tral to visit the village due to the alleged assault by the army in Tral. During this I was again locked in the house. This is the real picture of Kashmir.”

In the tweet, he wrote that, “The Indian government should show this picture to the delegation coming here instead of on a picnic tour.” Earlier on Tuesday, Mehbooba Mufti had alleged that army personnel thrashed a family in Tral, Pulwama in which a woman was injured. Mehbooba Mufti was going to meet that family on Wednesday but she could not go.

Earlier also said attack on the center: In the picture shared by Mehbooba Mufti in the tweet, an army vehicle is visible. Let us inform that former CM Mehbooba Mufti is constantly attacking the center. On Tuesday, he alleged that journalists were being exploited in the Valley. In this regard, he also wrote a letter to the Press Council of India (PCI) and demanded that an independent fact finding team be sent to Jammu and Kashmir.

Mehbooba Mufti said in her letter that, ‘The fundamental rights like the right to freedom of speech and freedom of expression as enshrined in the Indian Constitution have been attacked. In the last two years an insecure government has done this with great speed.’

Afghanistan’s concern over Kashmir: On 7 September, he pulled up the central government over fake claims of normalcy in Kashmir. In his tweet, he wrote that, “The Indian government is expressing concern for the rights of the Afghan people but deliberately ignores the concerns of Kashmiris. By putting me under house arrest, the administration feels that the situation in Kashmir is far from normal. This exposes their fake claims of normalcy.”
