Lucknow: In the fight against Corona, the district administration Lucknow is preparing to destroy its old records. It was told by District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash that all the preparations for the Maha Vaccination have been completed.

He told that tomorrow Lucknow will set a new record leaving behind all its old records of vaccination. For which arrangements have been completed at a total of 433 session sites. He informed that 991 booths have been prepared for vaccination in Lucknow yesterday. On an average 573 people will be vaccinated in every session.

Vaccination will be done at 991 booths

District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash said that as per the instructions of the government, Kovid-19 vaccination campaign is being organized on a large scale in the district tomorrow. Under which a total of 433 centers (session sites) in the district today, including 12 district level hospitals, Balrampur Hospital, Dr. SPM Hospital, Lokbandhu Raj Narayan Hospital, Rani Laxmibai Joint Hospital, KGMU, Dr. RML Hospital, BRD Hospital, Mahanagar, Ram Sagar Mishra 100 beds. A total of 991 vaccination booths were organized including Hospital Sadamau, 100 Bed Hospital, Thakurganj, Jhalkari Bai Chikitsalaya, Avanti Bai Chikitsalaya and 19 Urban and Rural Community Health Centers, 18 Primary Health Centers, 104 Work Places CBC and 07 other places.

Special arrangements made for the elderly

Strict instructions were given by the District Magistrate in view of the grand vaccination campaign to be held tomorrow that no one should face any inconvenience regarding vaccination. Also, for the convenience of the elderly, volunteers should be installed at all the centers. Also, arrangement of wheelchairs and walking sticks should be ensured at all the centres.

He directed that arrangements should be made to make arrangements for drinking water, seating arrangements and sheds in open places by putting up tents etc. at all the centres. Continuous sanitization should be done by portable machines. Along with this, vaccination should be ensured by following social distancing and covid protocol. The District Magistrate said that there is only one weapon to protect against Kovid, that is vaccination.

Both co-vaccine and co-vaccine will be administered

Abhishek Prakash said that in this campaign, the beneficiaries would be benefited from the first and second doses, using both the vaccine and the co-vaccine.
