According to the Governing Council, the players’ auction will be held on February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru. This time the title sponsor of IPL will be ‘Tata’ group. This time a total of 10 teams will be seen in the tournament. Recently, new teams of Lucknow and Ahmedabad were announced.

IPL chairman Brijesh Patel confirmed the auction dates in a conversation with news agency ‘ANI’ on Tuesday. Apart from this, he also told that in the next season ‘Tata’ will be the title sponsor of the group tournament. For the past several days, the same dates of the auction were being mentioned in the reports, but there was no official statement from the BCCI or the Governing Council. Now it is confirmed that the mega auction will be held next month.
