Meerut News: After the corona case in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh, now there is a steady decline in new cases of dengue. This process continued on Wednesday as well and 8 new patients were found. Except one, all the rest are from urban areas. The process of decreasing dengue patients started from Diwali. According to CMO Dr. Akhilesh Mohan, 8 dengue patients have been found today. Which is the lowest in this month. On the day of Diwali i.e. on November 4, 22 dengue patients were found. On November 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, respectively, 18, 15. 14. 12, 10 patients were found.

Giving information about dengue and corona patients tonight, CMO Dr. Akhilesh Mohan said that along with corona in Meerut district, now dengue outbreak has started decreasing. He said that after the 8 patients found today, the total number of dengue patients in Meerut has reached 1499. He said that 1226 dengue patients have been cured so far in Meerut district. According to the CMOs, the number of active dengue patients is 273, out of which 65 are hospitalized while 208 patients are getting treatment at their homes.

According to the CMOs, the cases of corona are also negligible now. So far only two patients of Corona have been found in the last one week. He told that even today not a single corona positive has been found in the investigation of 3328 samples. A total of four corona cases are left in Meerut. Of these, two patients are at home while two patients are getting their treatment after being admitted to the hospital. He told that there is no news of any death from Corona in Meerut for more than two months.
