Market cap of eight of the top 10 Sensex companies jumped by Rs 2.34 lakh crore

New Delhi, The market capitalization (market cap) of eight of the top 10 Sensex companies saw a strong jump of Rs 2,34,161.58 crore last week. During this period, Reliance Industries, Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) were the biggest gainers. Let us tell you that last week the 30-share Sensex of BSE rose 1,478.38 points or 2.47 percent.

Reliance is on top
Reliance Industries remained at the first place in the list of these top 10 companies. It was followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, Infosys, ICICI Bank, Hindustan Unilever, HDFC, Bajaj Finance, State Bank of India and Bharti Airtel respectively.

The market capitalization of Reliance Industries rose by Rs 69,503.71 crore to Rs 17,17,264.94 crore during the reporting week. The market valuation of Infosys increased by Rs 48,385.63 crore to Rs 8,10,927.25 crore.

These companies also benefited
Similarly, the market position of TCS rose by Rs 42,317.15 crore to Rs 14,68,245.97 crore. HDFC’s valuation increased by Rs 21,125.41 crore to Rs 4,91,426.13 crore and ICICI Bank stood at Rs 5,69,511.37 crore with a profit of Rs 18,650.77 crore.

The market capitalization of State Bank of India (SBI) jumped by Rs 15,127.22 crore to Rs 4,53,593.38 crore and that of Bajaj Finance rose by Rs 10,291.28 crore to Rs 4,72,686.80 crore. Bharti Airtel’s market position increased by Rs 8,760.41 crore to Rs 3,95,810.41 crore in the week under review.

The market capitalization of these companies decreased
Contrary to this trend, the market capitalization of Hindustan Unilever declined by Rs 12,217.88 crore to Rs 5,55,560.85 crore. HDFC Bank’s valuation declined by Rs 2,854.33 crore to Rs 8,56,439.28 crore.
