Market buzzes even before Diwali, Nifty crosses 18500, Sensex also sets record

Share Market: The stock market remains bullish. Today again the indices are seen trading at new record levels. The market is going strong in the early trade. The Sensex is seen trading with a gain of more than 500 points. On the other hand, Nifty is also maintaining an increase of 150 points. Nifty was seen trading above the 18,500 mark.

Sensex and Nifty started trading at record level today. The Sensex opened at 61,817.32 with a gain of 511.37 points, setting a new record. The Sensex had made a high of 61894.33 in trading till 10 o’clock. On the other hand, the Nifty opened at the level of 18500.1 with a gain of 161.55 points. Nifty had made a high of 18517.5 in trading till 10 am.

Hindalco, ONGC, IOC, JSW Steel and Tata Steel were the top gainers on Nifty. While the top losers were Bajaj Auto, Asian Paints, Divis Labs, Cipla and Dr Reddy’s Labs. Today UltraTech Cement, L&T Infotech, Tata Coffee, Root Mobile, Alok Industries, Hatsun Agro Products and Hathway Bhavani Cabletel are among the companies that will present their September quarter results today.

China’s economy derails

On the other hand, Asian markets are seen struggling a bit today. China’s new figures are the reason behind this. Due to Corona, China’s economy has derailed once again. According to the latest report, there has been a brake on China’s economic growth in the new quarter. China has suffered an economic setback due to the slowdown on construction works and restrictions imposed on the use of energy. China’s economy has been able to grow at the rate of 4.9 percent till the end of September. Earlier this figure was at 7.9 percent.
