Last solar eclipse of the year, doors of temples closed, Ganga Ghats will be purified with Gangajal

New Delhi | Solar Eclipse: The last solar eclipse of the year 2022 is going to be visible today on Tuesday. Due to which the Sutak period is imposed. Due to the solar eclipse, the doors of all the temples of the country are closed today and worship is not being done. Due to the effect of solar eclipse, the doors of temples in Uttarakhand have been closed.

Worship done with law and order in Brahma Muhurta itself
Solar Eclipse: Due to the solar eclipse in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, worship in all the four dhams as well as in Haridwar has been stopped in all the monasteries and temples. In view of the solar eclipse, the doors of Gangotri and Yamanotri Dham are also closed. In such a situation, even before the beginning of the Sutak period, the priests of the Dham closed the doors for the devotees after offering prayers at the Brahma Muhurta at 4 in the morning. Now the doors will remain closed till 6 pm. Only after this the doors will be opened again with the help of law.

Ganga Ghats will be purified by washing them with Gangajal
Solar Eclipse: There will be an effect of solar eclipse in Haridwar from 4.27 pm to 6.22 pm. At the end of the solar eclipse, the Ganga Ghats will be purified by washing them with Ganges water, after which the doors of the temples will be opened only after purification and worship will begin. The Sutak period has started 12 hours before the solar eclipse. In such a situation, the morning and evening aarti at Har ki Paidi of Haridwar on the next morning of Diwali has also been stopped.
