Maharashtra will not tolerate Bommai’s statements says Ajit Pawar

Mumbai Leader of the Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Ajit Pawar on Thursday said the state will not tolerate the statements of Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. Talking to mediapersons before attending a meeting at the Nationalist Congress Party office, Ajit Pawar said that Bommai was claiming villages in Jat taluka of Sangli district and Akkalkot in Maharashtra. He said that he should stop making such statements immediately. His statement is condemnable and Sharad Pawar has condemned it.

He said that such statements are being made to divert the attention of people from inflation and unemployment. Ajit said that the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra should pay attention to this. He said that now only Mumbai is left to demand by the Chief Minister of Karnataka. He said the Center should immediately intervene on the issue and warned that Maharashtra would never tolerate such statements.
