Nagpur | Maharashtra Politics Latest : Another new twist has come in the dramatic developments happening in Maharashtra politics. Party MLA Nitin Deshmukh, who went to Surat with rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde, on Wednesday claimed that some people forcefully admitted him to a hospital there. Along with this, he also said that he was given an injection even though he had not had a heart attack. Talking to reporters at Nagpur airport, Deshmukh said that he somehow managed to return to Maharashtra safely from Surat and expressed his allegiance to Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray. Deshmukh’s wife had lodged a complaint with the Akola police a day earlier that her husband was missing. Deshmukh is an MLA from Balapur constituency in Akola district of Vidarbha region.

Maharashtra Politics Latest : Nitin Deshmukh says that he is Shiv Sainik of Uddhav Thackeray and Balasaheb Thackeray. He said that my health is good. On Tuesday, 20-25 people and police personnel got me admitted to a hospital in Surat. He told them that he had suffered a heart attack but the truth is completely different from this. My blood pressure did not increase either. His intention was wrong. I was forcibly injected. Maharashtra Politics Latest : Deshmukh also said that when he tried to escape from there, police and goons assaulted him under Operation Kamal in Surat and said that he had suffered a heart attack. Responding to Deshmukh’s claims, Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole said it shows that democracy is being murdered. He tweeted that with Nitin Deshmukh’s explanation, one can understand how democracy is being murdered by stooping to the lowest level. Truth can be disturbed, not defeated. In this struggle, the Congress party stands firmly with the Shiv Sena and the Maha Vikas Aghadi.
