China-Russia front?

Whether it is clearly stated or not – efforts are being made through the SCO and BRICS to create an alternative to the IMF-World Bank-NATO-centric world order, It has become clear.

The message received by the world at the Shanghai Cooperation Council summit in Samarkand, Uzbekistan is that China and Russia have made it a platform to advance a competitive world order. If India and possibly the present government of Pakistan may also feel uncomfortable with this message, then it will be difficult for them to break this notion created by the discussions in Samarkand that came to the headlines. A day before the summit, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, in a joint statement issued after their bilateral meeting, bluntly said that in a turbulent world, the two countries would seek stability “as great powers”. will play the role of Apart from this, he also talked about protecting the interests of developing countries in matters of security. In this form, these two countries are now giving a new look to their role. SCO will remain unaffected by this, it is not possible. It emerged from the summit that these two countries are projecting BRICS, the Eurasian Economic Union and the SCO as working groups with a common objective. The aim is to break the western domination.

The attraction of China’s growing economic power is that such efforts have started joining such countries, which till now were considered in the American camp. For example, Turkey participated as an observer in Samarkand. Saudi Arabia, UAE and many other countries have taken the initiative to join the SCO as dialogue partners. In Samarkand, it became clear that Russia and China have stepped up efforts to create a new system of international trade to make Western sanctions redundant. Pleased with this, Iran has not only become a full member of the SCO, but its president also called for the introduction of an alternative to the Western-controlled financial system as soon as possible. So on the whole – whether it is explicitly stated or not – the attempt through the SCO and BRICS to create an alternative to the IMF-World Bank and NATO-centric world order, it has become clear.
