Lucknow News: On Tuesday, Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh inaugurated the newly constructed four-bed Primary Health Center in Dawoodnagar of Faizullaganj Ward of the capital. At the same time, on this occasion, Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh said that with the opening of Primary Health Center in this area, better health facilities would be available to the local people. He said that the new variant of Corona, Omicron, has knocked in the state. Therefore, people should take precautions to protect against Kovid and get Kovid vaccine. The Health Minister said that from January 3, the children of 15 to 18 years will be given the corona vaccine.

Delivery facility available

On this occasion, MLA of Lucknow North Zone, Dr. Neeraj Bora said that it is the endeavor of the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister that even the last rung of the society should get better health facilities. The entire staff including the Medical Officer-in-Charge has been appointed at this four-bed Primary Health Center. People can take health related services from here from tomorrow. The facility of delivery is available here, as well as the operation theater for Caesarean delivery has also been constructed. It is our endeavor that people should get the facility of their treatment near their homes.

Must have both doses

At the end of the program, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Manoj Agarwal said that do not be careless towards Corona. People above 18 years of age must get both doses of Kovid vaccine. Also, follow the protocol of prevention from Kovid.

Street play to spread awareness

Along with this, stalls of Family Welfare Programme, Prime Minister’s Safe Motherhood Campaign, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Leprosy, Mental Health, Tobacco Control and Tuberculosis were also set up. On this occasion, artists of Aakar Foundation under the aegis of Center for Advocacy and Research (CIFAR) presented street plays to create awareness about COVID vaccination.
