The reasons for the death of the tiger trapped in the trap will be investigated, there is a possibility of hunting

Panna. Panna Sub Divisional Forest Officer has been authorized for detailed investigation in the death of a young male tiger trapped in Madhya Pradesh’s Panna district.

According to sources, after investigating the reasons for the incident, the investigation report will be submitted within seven days. The concerned beat in-charge and range assistant have been suspended for negligence.

However, after this incident in Vikrampur village, due to the atmosphere of fear and panic among the villagers, no one is ready to speak anything.

According to the information received from the Forest Officer North, Panna, separate samples of the dead tiger have been sent to Indian Veterinary Research Institute Bareilly, Forensic Science Lab Sagar and Center for Wildlife Forensic and Health Jabalpur laboratory for testing.

Employees of Panna North Forest Division reached the spot and registered a case of forest crime against unknown persons. The employees did a thorough inspection up to two kilometers away from the incident site. According to sources, during this period, marks and hairs of tiger’s claws were found on the tendu tree.

The dead tiger was brought down by cutting the branch of the tendu tree. Action for confiscation was taken after the employees found a piece of peg and wire noose here. Investigation is also being done through the dog squad team. So far two suspects are being questioned in the case.

On inquiry it was found that the trap in which the tiger died was used by the two suspects to protect their crops from wild animals. In the post mortem report, all the organs of the tiger have been found present and safe.
