Hijab Controversy: Supreme Court refuses immediate hearing, says it has nothing to do with examination

The Karnataka High Court had clearly stated that in educational institutions, schools will have to wear college uniforms only. However, dissatisfied with the decision of the Karnataka High Court, the girl students filed a petition in the Supreme Court of the country. Now the latest information has been received in this case that the Supreme Court has refused to hear this petition immediately. In this regard, the Supreme Court said that there is no need to make this case more sensitive as it has nothing to do with the examination.

Senior advocate Devdutt Kamath, who fought the case on behalf of the girl students, appealed to the Supreme Court for an urgent hearing. He said that this should be heard immediately as the students are not able to take the examination, which will spoil their year. After hearing the arguments of Devdutt Kamath, the Chief Justice said that this subject has nothing to do with examinations and the matter should not be sensitized. The Chief Justice said that the institute has not stopped anyone from taking the examination, so as long as the matter goes to the court, the examination can be given.

Hijab Controversy Supreme Court: Here, Karnataka Education Minister BC Nagesh has said that the re-examination will not be conducted for the students and girls who are not appearing in the examination. He said that it is the duty of every citizen living in the country to follow the order of the court. In such a situation, whatever the reason for not giving the examination, the examinations will not be conducted again. Let us inform that the girls had reached the Karnataka High Court in the matter of permission to wear hijab in defence. Where the decision did not come in her favor, after which she reached the Supreme Court.
