LeT module busted in Jammu and Kashmir, two terrorists arrested

Srinagar. Security forces on Tuesday busted a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror module and arrested two terrorists and their two associates, one of whom is a woman, from Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district. Police gave this information. He said the terrorists were instructed by their handlers based in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) to attack civilians.

A police spokesperson said, “Police in coordination with security forces busted LeT terrorist module in north Kashmir Bandipora by arresting two active terrorists and their two key associates, one of whom is a woman.”

Incriminating material, a large quantity of arms, ammunition and IED (Improvised Explosive Device) preparation material have been recovered from them, he said. The spokesman said the security forces cordoned off the Gundbal nursery and launched a search operation.

During this, two terrorists belonging to the banned terrorist organization were arrested. “They have been identified as Musaib Mir alias Moya, a resident of Rakh Hajin, and Arafat Farooq Wage alias Dr Adil, a resident of Gulshanabad Hajin,” he said.

The spokesperson said that one AK-47 rifle, one AK-56 rifle, four AK series magazines, cartridges, RDX powder, nails and ball bearings, batteries, detonators, IED mechanism circuits, remote controls, wires and iron pipes were recovered from them. have met

The official said the joint team also arrested two associates of Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists. They have been identified as Imran Majeed Mir alias Zafar Bhai, a resident of Wangipora Sumbal and Suraiyya Rashid Wani alias Santi alias Tabish, a resident of Mohalla Hajin.
