Lata didi fought to death in the hospital for almost 29 days. He was undergoing treatment at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Didi, 92, was admitted to the hospital on January 8 after being infected with corona. But Didi also kept her last days musical and listened to music through earphones in her ears even in such a delicate condition.

Lata Mangeshkar Demise: Lata didi started her career as a singer at the age of just 13. This journey of Didi’s notes lasted for about 70 years. During this, Lata Didi has sung thousands of songs in 36 languages. Didi considered her father as her guru and applied his teachings in her life. Didi used to catch the shortcomings of the songs sung by herself and try to remove them.

Lata didi, in her last days in the hospital, got earphones for two days ago and was listening to her father’s recordings while she was trying to sing to him. Despite having a mask on her face, Didi was trying to sing by removing the mask. Let us tell you that Lata didi’s father Dinanath Mangeshkar was not only a theatrical singer but also Lata didi’s guru. National mourning declared for two days
Two days of national mourning has been declared on the death of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar. During this, the national flag will remain at half-mast. Apart from this, a state mourning of three has been declared in Maharashtra. On the death of Lata didi, the Maharashtra government has declared a public holiday on 07.02.22 i.e. Monday.
