Health minister went to meet ailing Manmohan Singh with photographer, people furious on social media

The health of former PM Manmohan Singh is not good. Meanwhile, when Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya came to meet him along with the photographer, people on social media got furious.

Twitter user @suhasinih wrote that right to privacy has been violated by taking his photo. @DrAMSinghvi also wrote that the patient’s privacy was abolished.

Many users also said that the former PM is at risk of infection, so the presence of so many people in his room can prove to be dangerous.

Apart from this, many Twitter users also raised questions that even though Manmohan Singh was not in the condition of the photo session, why did the hospital administration allow a photographer into a patient’s room, especially when his family did not have explicit permission.

Let us tell you that Manmohan Singh has come to know about dengue. His daughter Daman Singh says that his condition is stable, but given his age and illness, his immunity is low.

He said it was good for the health minister to express his concern and come to meet him at AIIMS. But at that time the family was not in a position to be photographed. my mother [गुरशरण कौर] insisted that the photographer should leave the room for fear of infection, but was completely ignored.

Daman told news website The Wire that our family is very sad. My parents are elderly, they are not zoo animals. Therefore their privacy should be respected.

Let us inform that the Congress has issued a statement on Friday saying that Manmohan Singh is in a better position than before. Respect their privacy. Congress National Secretary Pranav Jha gave this information.

He said that baseless things are being said about the former PM, which is not right. They are under the supervision of doctors. He has been admitted to the hospital only for better care.
