New Delhi | Petrol Diesel Price Today: With the beginning of the festival season in many states of the country, the prices of petrol and diesel have increased. On the first day of Sharadiya Navratri 2022, the price of petrol has increased in many states including Chennai, Assam, Chhattisgarh. The main reason for this is the rise in the prices of crude oil in the international market. The price of Brent crude has increased to $ 87.27 per barrel, while the price of WTI has increased to $ 79.84 per barrel.

Government oil companies in the country have released new rates of petrol and diesel on Monday morning. On Monday, the price of petrol in Chennai has increased to 102.74 liters and diesel to 94.33 liters. However, no change has been made in the petrol-diesel price in the remaining three metros of the country, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata.

Price hiked in these states
Petrol and diesel prices have increased by up to Rs 0.53 in Assam, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh due to increase in crude oil prices in the international market.

Here comes the fall in prices
While the prices of petrol and diesel have increased in many states of the country, on the other hand, petrol and diesel have also become cheaper by up to Rs 0.59 in some states including Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Punjab.

Petrol-Diesel Price Today in four metros of the country – Petrol Diesel Price Today:
– Petrol in Delhi Rs 96.72 per liter and diesel Rs 89.62 per liter.
– Petrol in Mumbai Rs 106.31 per liter and diesel Rs 94.27 per liter.
– Petrol in Chennai Rs 102.74 per liter and diesel Rs 94.33 per liter.
– Petrol in Kolkata Rs 106.03 per liter and diesel Rs 92.76 per liter.
