KL Rahul becomes second fastest batsman to complete 3000 runs in IPL

KL Rahul 3000 Runs: Punjab Kings (PBKS) captain KL Rahul made a special achievement in the Indian Premier League (IPL) match being played against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Tuesday. KL Rahul has completed his 3000 runs in IPL. Rahul achieved this position in his 80th IPL innings with two sixes. He is now the second fastest cricketer to complete 3000 runs in the fastest IPL. Only his team’s explosive batsman Chris Gayle is ahead of him.

Chris Gayle took only 75 innings to achieve this position. Apart from him, Australian opener David Warner had completed 3000 runs in 94 IPL matches. While Chennai Super Kings batsman Suresh Raina achieved this feat in 103 matches.

KL Rahul’s name has now been included in a special list of cricketers who have achieved the milestone of 3000 runs. Overall, Rahul is the 18th batsman and second from Punjab Kings to enter the club of 3000. Most runs in IPL are registered in the name of Bangalore captain Virat Kohli. Kohli has scored 6081 runs in 192 innings of 200 matches of IPL. During this he has scored 5 centuries and 40 half-centuries. In which his average is 37.77. The most interesting thing is that Indian players are included in the top four in the list of highest IPL run scorers. In which the name of Shikhar Dhawan at number two, Suresh Raina at third and Rohit Sharma at number four are included.
