Uddhav and Shinde faction face to face again

Mumbai The dispute between Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde faction has intensified again. Shinde faction dissolved the old national executive of the party in a meeting on Monday. However, nothing was said about Uddhav Thackeray. He was allowed to remain the party president. In response, Uddhav Thackeray expelled two leaders who attended the meeting of Shinde faction from the party. He expelled senior party leader Ramdas Kadam and former MP Anandrao Adsul from the party.

Along with dissolving the old National Executive, the Shinde faction also announced a new executive. In this, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has been elected as the new leader of Shiv Sena. But the post of party chief has not been removed i.e. the post of Uddhav Thackeray has been kept as it is. In the new executive, Deepak Kesarkar has been elected as the spokesperson, while Ramdas Kadam and Anandrao Adsul have been elected as the leaders. Yashwant Jadhav, Gulabrao Patil, Uday Samant, Sharad Ponkshe, Tanaji Sawant, Vijay Nahata, Shivajirao Adhrao Patil have been elected as deputy leaders.

On the other hand, the Uddhav Thackeray faction has expelled senior leader Ramdas Kadam and former MP Anandrao Adsul from Shiv Sena on charges of anti-party activities. Shiv Sena MP Vinayak Raut gave this information. Both the leaders had attended the meeting of Shinde faction on Monday, after which this action has been taken. Significantly, the Supreme Court has constituted a three-judge bench to hear the Maharashtra crisis. This bench will hear the matter on July 20. A bench of Chief Justice NV Ramanna, Justice Krishna Murari and Justice Hima Kohli will hear the petitions filed by the Uddhav camp and Shinde camp.
