Kejriwal’s demonstration for Kashmiri Hindus

New Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal demonstrated at Jantar Mantar after reports of targeted attacks on Hindus and exodus of Hindus in Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing a public protest rally organized by the Aam Aadmi Party, Kejriwal said that the 1990s have returned in Kashmir. He said that the central government is proving unsuccessful in saving the lives of Kashmiri Pandits and Kashmiri Pandits are forced to migrate.

Chief Minister Kejriwal said that the whole country is saddened by the killing of Kashmiri Pandits today. He prayed for the peace of the souls of the civilians and martyred jawans killed in Kashmir. Kejriwal said- Today Kashmiri Pandits are forced to flee because they are under the shadow of fear and are demanding security for themselves from the BJP government. But the BJP government is not able to give them security. Today the 1990s have come again in Kashmir.

Attacking the Bharatiya Janata Party, Kejriwal said that the BJP government has no plan to save the lives of Kashmiri Pandits. Taking a jibe at the meeting called by the Home Minister on this issue, he said – Home Minister, you have done a lot of meetings, now show some action. He asked to give security to Kashmiri Pandits and cancel the bonds furnished by them. Kejriwal said- I want to tell the Kashmiris that the Aam Aadmi Party is with you. I will seek an appointment with Home Minister Amit Shah in a day or two to discuss Kashmir.
