keep differences but not differences

Nowadays our TV channels and some politicians don’t know what has happened? They have started giving importance to such subjects, which cannot contribute to the progress and prosperity of the country. Like the statement given by the BJP spokesperson about Prophet Mohammad and now how much time of the country is being wasted regarding the film ‘Kali’ made in Canada. Almost all our TV channels keep on calling party-spokespersons and rhetorically superficial speakers on similar issues throughout the day and show their riots.

The sole goal of these debates is to make TV channels increase their viewership (TRP). The people involved in these debates use obscene language to cut each other’s point of view, make serious allegations against each other and do not say such things, which will enrich the knowledge of crores of viewers. Many thoughtful and serious people of the country are saddened to see these debates and many of them keep avoiding watching TV.

They believe that watching these debates is a waste of their time. But the ill-effects of such debates on the common man are being seen in full swing these days. Sometimes they feel that the speaker has insulted Shiva, such a speaker has said a very objectionable thing about the Prophet and such a thing has ruined the image of Kali Mata. If this is done by a heretic, then what do you ask? There is an atmosphere of demonstrations, processions and violence all over the country.

The knots of the leaders of all our parties start heating up. They not only issue acid statements against each other but also get reports written in police stations, file cases in courts and some madmen even indulge in murder and arson. Why do they not understand that the glory of the gods and goddesses or great men of their religions is so touched that some ludicrous things said against them can tarnish their reputation?

Can the centuries-old tradition of reverence and devotion towards him be destroyed by these moving remarks? I think that debate should be answered by debate, not with a gun. The great men of all religions should be fully respected as individuals but their personalities and principles should be openly debated. If open debate is banned in our country, then this Vishwa-guru will not even be able to become a Vishwa-disciple.

India has been known for thousands of years for ‘shastras’ and open debates. Argumentation and debate and debate must go on in the formation of consent and consent. The German philosophers Hegel and Karl Marx were also supporters of debate and syncretism. Differences do exist among human beings, only effort should be made that there should be no differences.
