Bangalore. The blast in an auto-rickshaw in Mangaluru on Saturday evening has been suspected to be an ‘act of terror’. Police is present at the spot. Karnataka Home Minister Araga Gyanendra said the state police has launched a thorough investigation into the Mangaluru auto-rickshaw blast incident. Those injured in the fight are being treated. It is feared that this could be a terrorist incident. The Central Investigation Team will also join hands with the State Police.

The Karnataka State Police is conducting a thorough investigation with central agencies. The blast occurred in an autorickshaw near a police station on Saturday evening, injuring a passenger and the driver. Both have been admitted to the hospital.
