Renowned Bengali and Odia singer Nirmala Mishra is no more!

Born in Bengal in 1938, Nirmala Mishra used to sing not only Bengali but also Odia songs. His career started in 1960 and he worked with many big music directors like Akshay Mohanty, Shantanu Mohapatra. Nirmala Mishra was awarded the Sangeet Sudhakar Balkrishna Das Award.

According to PTI, Nirmala Mishra suffered a heart attack on the night of 1 August at 12:05. After which he was taken to the hospital. There the doctors declared him brought dead.
