Johnson in trouble due to resignation of four ministers

London, The government of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is in crisis. Four of his ministers have resigned, after which the pressure on him to resign has increased. A day earlier on Tuesday, his finance and health minister had resigned. Then he had appointed two new ministers indicating not to bow down. But on Wednesday, two more ministers resigned, after which the pressure on them increased. On the latest developments, Johnson has said that he will resign if he feels that the government is not working.

A day earlier on Tuesday, Britain’s Finance Minister Rishi Sunak and Health Minister Sajid Javid resigned. Both ministers raised serious questions about Prime Minister Johnson’s ability and the way the government works. Women and Children Minister Will Quins and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Laura Trott also resigned on Wednesday, a day after Rishi Sunak and Sajid Javid resigned. After these resignations, the pressure on Prime Minister Boris Johnson to leave the chair has also increased.

It is worth noting that Boris Johnson had to face a no-confidence motion last month for partying at the Prime Minister’s residence during the Corona epidemic, in which his life was saved. But now he is facing opposition from within the party, especially regarding the work in the second case, due to which his chair seems to be in danger. If Johnson resigns due to opposition from the party, then his Conservative Party can make Indian-origin Rishi Sunak the new Prime Minister of the country.

Rishi Sunak is considered to be the frontrunner in the race for the post of Prime Minister. He has played an important role in Johnson’s election campaign, as well as his face has been the most visible in the media. Instead of the Prime Minister, he has been doing media briefings. Secondly, he has held the responsibility of important post like Finance Minister. He is the son-in-law of Infosys founder Narayana Murthy. Apart from him, the second name is of the country’s Foreign Minister Liz Truss. He is very popular in the UK and last year he was also given the responsibility of negotiations with the European Union. Apart from him, the name of party MP Jeremy Hunt is also in the news.
