Jindal Group will set up cement plant in Chhattisgarh, investment of 2119 crores

Raipur. Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL), a company headed by well-known industrialist Naveen Jindal, will set up a cement plant in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh by investing Rs 2119 crore. For the establishment of Jindal Panther Cement (JSP) plant, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was concluded with the Government of Chhattisgarh here today, on which Principal Secretary Commerce and Industry Manoj Kumar Pingua on behalf of the State Government and Jindal Cement. JSP President Pradeep Tandon signed it.

With this, cement production will also be added to the services of Jindal Steel & Power, a leader in the Steel, Energy, Mining and Infrastructure Sectors. The company currently manufactures iron rods in the name of Jindal Panther, and will also launch cement under the name of this famous brand.
