Once upon a time, the leaders of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha used to say that their voters do not read newspapers or watch television. But now the party has gone far ahead of other parties in the use of social media. The consultants from Delhi and Mumbai and the professionals running the social media company are running the political campaign of the party. Informed leaders of the party say that preparations were going on for some time. Now this campaign has been fully operational.
The social media team of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has created a Twitter account of all the MLAs of the party. Apart from the MLAs, the accounts of the lost candidates and district committees have also been made. From the Chief Minister to all the ministers, separate accounts have been made, through which the work and decisions of the state government are being publicized. The social media accounts of MLAs and leaders from far-flung areas from the capital are also very active. Till now the Bharatiya Janata Party was the most active in social media. But now the JMM team is more active than that and it is responding to BJP’s allegations in real time and supporting the government. This is a rejuvenation of JMM.
