Colombo | Jay Shah Cricket Latest : A good news has come for the son of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BCCI Secretary Jay Shah. Jay Shah’s tenure as the President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) was extended by a year on Saturday. The decision was taken unanimously at the ACC’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) here. Shah took over the reins of the ACC from Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hasan in January last year, making him the youngest administrator to be appointed as the ACC president.

Looking forward to developing the game in the region

Jay Shah Cricket Latest : Addressing the AGM, Shah said that the main focus of the ACC would be to further the development of the sport in the region. Shah said that we are committed to ensure all round development of cricket in this region. Our focus will be on the many grassroots tournaments organized by the ACC throughout the year in the region, with a focus on taking forward women’s cricket in particular. He said that we hope that we have left the epidemic behind and I am curious that we will help ACC to move forward strongly from here.

Jay Shah Cricket Latest : Shah’s tenure extension was proposed by Sri Lanka Cricket (LLC) President Shammi Silva. After which all the members of ACC unanimously supported his nomination. Let us tell you that Shah has also done a better job as BCCI Secretary, even in this era of Corona epidemic, he has got a lot of applause for successfully conducting the competitions.
