Jammu News: Day by day the number of dengue patients is increasing in Jammu and Kashmir. In such a situation, now this number has crossed one thousand. Meanwhile, maximum cases are coming from Jammu district. About 30 to 35 new cases are coming here every day. In these circumstances, a team of experts from the Center will soon visit the Valley to take stock of the situation. At the same time, the Union Health Ministry has decided to send a team of experts to 9 states and union territories of the country. So that you can get rid of the disease as soon as possible.

Apart from Jammu, cases of dengue are also being reported in Kathua and Samba districts. For which experts are being sent by the Union Health Ministry to review dengue prevention and control management in these districts.

Teams being sent to Jammu

In this regard, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has said that more cases of dengue are being reported in Haryana, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir. In view of this, efforts are being made to provide necessary help by sending experts to the respective states. Instructions have been given to the states and union territory administrations to increase awareness among the people to prevent dengue.

Let us tell you, in the month of October this year, there have been record cases of dengue in these states as compared to last year. Whereas in these states compared with the whole country, 86 percent of the cases have been reported. Keeping this in mind, experts from National Vector Worn Disease Control Program (NVBDCP), National Center for Disease Control (LCDC) and regional offices are being sent to these nine states.

At present, many areas affected by dengue in Jammu are Rihari, Bakshinagar, Trikutanagar, Gandhinagar, Subhash Nagar etc. Dengue cases are being reported regularly from all these areas. While dengue has knocked in most places of the city. Due to which a large number of dengue patients are reaching GMC Jammu and other private hospitals including SMGS Hospital. These patients include people of all ages ranging from children.
