Jamaat-e-Islami: More Properties caught by State Investigation Agency

Srinagar. The State Investigation Agency (SIA) of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday notified and attached more properties of the banned Jamaat-e-Islami (JEI) in Anantnag district as properties in illegal use. SIA sources said that the District Magistrate of Anantnag has notified these properties under illegal use of JEI.

The properties include orchards, shopping complexes, agricultural land and residential properties. The notified properties include a two-storey building housing the office of the Falah-e-Aam Trust (FAT) along with a canal and four malra lands. Sources said the notified properties also include land of 30 kanals and one malra in Rakhi Momin Danjipora Village under survey number 1299/956/496 in the name of JEI under accession number 246.
