Jadeja-Iyer’s partnership was broken in the third over of the first session itself, Team Saudi took the wicket.

IND vs NZ Score 1st Test Day 1 Team India scored 258 runs losing 4 wickets on the first day of Kanpur Test. There was an unbeaten 113-run partnership between Shreyas Iyer (75) and Ravindra Jadeja (50) for the fifth wicket. Team India, which had lost its four wickets for 145 runs at one time, was looking in trouble but the partnership of Shreyas Iyer and Ravindra Jadeja took Team India to 250.

Jamieson wreaks havoc
On the first day, New Zealand fast bowler Kyle Jamieson emerged as the biggest problem for Team India. Jamieson sent Team India’s opening pair Mayank Agarwal (13 runs) and Shubman Gill (52) to the pavilion. He also uprooted the wickets of Ajinkya Rahane (35), who had a good eye on the wicket. Shreyas did a strong performance in the debut test
Shreyas Iyer showed a strong game in his first Test. Coming to bat at the fifth order, Shreyas played an unbeaten innings of 75 runs in 136 balls. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja supported him well. Jadeja returned to the pavilion unbeaten on 50 off 100 balls. There was an unbeaten partnership of 113 runs between the two players.
