New Delhi | Aadhaar Card Update: There is a great information for you. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has asked to update all Aadhaar cards that are 10 years old. UIDAI has also advised Aadhaar card holders to update all documents related to their identity proof and address proof. Apart from this, if you have changed your name or mobile number or the child has turned 5 or 15 years old, then you should update Aadhaar.

Aadhaar Card Update: According to UIDAI, Aadhaar card holders whose Aadhaar was created ten years ago and who have not updated it even once, should update Aadhaar now. However, UIDAI has also said that it is not mandatory to do so but, it is in the interest of Aadhaar holders.

Aadhaar Card Update: UIDAI says that if any holder wants to update Aadhaar, then both online and offline facility is available for this. To update Aadhaar online, one has to visit the My Aadhar portal. Or, Aadhar card holders can also get Aadhaar updated by visiting their nearest Aadhar center. For this, by taking valid proof of your address and identity, you can update Aadhaar by paying a fee of Rs 50 at the nearest Aadhaar center. Aadhar updation complaint can also be made on the helpline number-1947.
