Karnataka opener Devdutt Padikkal was one of the biggest finds for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for some reason in the past. I don’t get much attention because of Kohli
Padikkal said that Virat Kohli is such an incredible batsman. And a lot of experience and knowledge about the game won the World Cup, and he has done everything in cricket, so someone like him in the non-striker is priceless in the end. He said that when he is batting with me, I don’t get much attention. This takes a lot of pressure off my shoulder. As a youngster, coming into the team and playing with it, you couldn’t have asked for more.
Padikkal not retained by RCB (IPL Auction 2022)
Padikkal was not retained by RCB before the IPL 2022 season. He will go to IPL 2022 mega auction with a base price of Rs 2 crore and will get a lot of interest from most of the team in the auction. RCB are one of the few franchises yet to win the Silverware. They would like to change that and the process would start with the auction.
