Narendra Modi Stadium to host play-off
A Times of India report said that with four stadia, the BCCI can play multiple games simultaneously, which is a prerequisite for the league stages. On the other hand, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad may host the play-offs. The Times of India newspaper quoted a source as saying that at present, the board is considering organizing the league stage in Maharashtra and the playoff in Ahmedabad. The report also stated that the BCCI office-bearers met on Thursday (January 27) and made it clear that the tournament will be held in India if the COVID-19 situation in the country remains the same. If the situation worsens they will move to UAE.
