IPL 2021: Mumbai coach Zaheer Khan’s big statement, told the failure of the middle order as the reason for the defeat

IPL 2021: In the second phase of IPL, the current champions Mumbai Indians have not started well so far. The team has faced defeat in its first three matches. Even yesterday, Mumbai had to face a humiliating defeat at the hands of RCB by 54 runs. After which the team has reached the seventh place in the points table and it is in danger of being out of the playoff race. Team coach Zaheer Khan has cited the failure of the middle order as a major reason for this poor performance.

Continually falling wickets is a big problem

Coach Zaheer Khan said, "We got a decent start in yesterday’s match. After getting such a start, if we keep on losing wickets, then we will never be able to come back in the match, as happened yesterday. We haven’t been able to perform consistently. We have done well in pieces. The hallmark of Mumbai is its aggressive game which we have not yet seen."
