The Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, has been doing every little thing without forgetting since he took over as the Prime Minister in 2014 and that is celebrating Diwali with the soldiers on the border. Since the year 2014, PM Modi has been celebrating the holy festival of Diwali with the soldiers of the country. This year also PM Modi has reached Kargil to celebrate Diwali. Along with this, PM Modi has tweeted and wished the countrymen a Happy Diwali. PM Modi tweeted and said, ‘Happy Diwali to all. Diwali is associated with happiness and brightness. This holy festival will infuse the feeling of happiness and prosperity in our lives. I hope you have a wonderful Diwali with family and friends.’

PM Modi considers army as family

PM Modi says that because of the soldiers of the army, we can celebrate Diwali safely in our homes. Had they not been posted on the border, we might not have been able to light diyas in our homes without fear and we would not have been able to celebrate festivals like this. Behind every happiness we get on Diwali, there is a lot of sacrifice to go somewhere. That’s why PM Modi considers the army as his family and every time he goes to his camp to celebrate Diwali with the soldiers. PM Modi has been celebrating Diwali with the army continuously since 2014.

Diwali is celebrated every year in different places

After becoming the PM for the first time in the year 2014, Narendra Modi celebrated his first Diwali with the army and during this PM Modi went to Siachen. After this, in the next year i.e. 2015, he went to the Punjab bordering Pakistan and celebrated Diwali on the Punjab border. After this, in 2016, he celebrated Diwali with soldiers in Himachal Pradesh. In 2017, went to Bandipora in Jammu and Kashmir, where he celebrated Diwali with BSF and Army personnel on duty. In 2018, PM Modi celebrated Diwali with ITBP in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. After this Diwali was celebrated in Rajouri of Jammu and Kashmir in the year 2019 and Jaisalmer in Rajasthan in 2020. After this, on the occasion of Diwali last year, PM Modi had arrived in Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir to celebrate Diwali with the soldiers. This year he is on Kargil.

The whole country is celebrating the festival of Diwali. Meanwhile, our Indian Army personnel are celebrating the festival away from home by protecting the country on the international border.
