Integration of all three services soon: Rajnath

New Delhi. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh emphasized the integration of the three services of the Indian Armed Forces. He said that efforts are being made to integrate rapidly so that there is ease of common clearance of logistical and uninterrupted availability of forces.
Raksha Mantri also stressed on the necessary synergy between the civil and military stakeholders. He said that India stands on the threshold of ‘nectar period’, so the presence of representatives of different fields from both sides shows ‘commitment’ to achieve the goal. Singh said that we are moving fast in the direction of integration of the three services. Efforts are being made to establish a common clearance mechanism for equipment so that the resources of one service can be made freely available to other services. In the program organized at the Manekshaw Center in Delhi Cantt, the Defense Minister said that the biggest benefit from the integration of the three services would be in terms of logistics.
Union Minister Rajnath Singh was addressing a seminar on military equipment here. Army Chief General Manoj Pandey, Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary and Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar and NITI Aayog member VK Others including Saraswat (VK Saraswat) joined. (Language)
