India’s Exports Crosses 300 Billion Dollar: India has made a big achievement on the export front. India has exported $300 billion in the first nine months of the 2021-22 financial year. India has touched this figure for the first time. Between April and December 2021, exports stood at $ 299.74 billion, which is 48 percent more than last year. Due to these export figures, India has received foreign exchange of $ 103 billion.

The country’s exports grew 37 per cent to $37 billion in December. This information has been received from the data released by the government. Exports have increased mainly due to better performance of petroleum products, engineering and electronic goods sectors. Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal has said on these figures that India will be able to achieve the export target of $ 400 billion in the current financial year.

In December, exports of engineering goods grew by 37 per cent, gems and jewellery by 16 per cent, exports of readymade garments by 22 per cent and electronics goods by 33 per cent.
